This Chemist Combined Fashion and Science to Create Her Own Fashion Line

Deirdre Roberson exemplifies the "A" in STEAM as she is both a chemist and a fashion designer.  If her name sounds familiar, maybe it is because she was also featured in this post. She founded the brand Eumelanin to celebrate the beauty of all shades of melanin. So how does science play a factor? Eumelanin is the brown and black pigment in the epidermis that gives Black and Brown people their various complexions. The chemical structure of eumelanin is also the company logo.
